about
Humankind has an incredible creativeness and potential. There are times when the ingenuity of the greatest minds on the planet seems to have few boundaries. Yet, a daily look at the news shows the world in a mess of our own making. Hatred, intolerance and greed leave so many innocent people in a precarious fight for their very survival.
Why does the human race always seem to sink to such base levels? Our vast intelligence has taken a bountiful planet, and turned it into a place of misery and suffering for many. Apathy and disempowerment means that too many of us turn a blind eye to that suffering. But surely it doesn’t have to be like this?
It’s said that those who don’t learn from past mistakes are condemned to repeat them. If that’s the case then we’ve learnt very little. It’s time to use our resourcefulness to improve the lives of all of the underprivileged on the planet, and help create a better future for everyone. If not, then we are all debased by the world we’ve built.
lyrics
War and murder on our TV screens - we become blind to the pain. Half the world struggling to meet their needs - famine is news again. What have we become? What has become of the world we dreamed of? Is this to be our legacy? Half the world starving and half the world blind - and all living in misery? Where is the love and the compassion? There seems so little here. Selfishness is the latest fashion - that much, at least, is clear.

Love the whole album but the groove on The Humanity Show reminds of the first time I heard Culture Shock which was a cassette called reality stop no 35 if my memory serves me correct. Hope to see you lot back in Liverpool at some point..... Here's hoping Senor Denzil
